Kellie Fahy

Kellie Fahy has had niche interests ever since she was born.

Raised by two unique parents, a sports loving, engineering father, and an English major mother who spent much of her 20s going into the city to watch Broadway shows, Kellie grew up surrounded by people with specific interests. It is to absolutely no surprise that she grew up into a stunningly odd child. She consumed fandom media including Harry Potter and Twilight, and then as she got older her interests became even more focused and unique as she hyperfixated on television shows like Doctor Who, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

As the marvel movies kicked off and she attended countless midnight premieres, she began a comic book collection that has now reached hundreds of editions. She found herself going down the rabbit holes of reddit threads as Game of Thrones aired, attempting to piece together the many different theories of how the show would ultimately end. The cherry on top of her oddness, was the fact that she was in marching band not only in high school, but also in college. Kellie Fahy has been and continues to be a nerd, not only in her youth, but her young adulthood.

In 2019 she graduated from Florida State University with a Creative Writing degree. Since then she has had personal short pieces published, gone to flight school, and moved from her home state of Florida to North Carolina. Now she works as a bartender, writes, and consumes massive amounts of media over the topics she is passionate about.

Kellie created Nichey partially as a way to explore a creative outlet to write about the stories she finds so compelling, but to also connect to people with the same interests. To add a place in the world, where people like her can be at home with others that share the same interests and passions.
